Just had another "drug like" paper product deal go down in my driveway in broad day light. This time it was a half case of paper napkins!... WTF?...

Often wish thou that my Mom could have been around to enjoy her grandkids & great grandkids. As a teacher all of her life, and her love of children, it would have been heaven on earth for her.
My daughter was planning to take her firstborn to visit my Mom in an Atlanta nursing home the next month, but Mom didn't last that long. Both parents loved seeing their great grandkids, would have a treat for them to see the 5 their 2 grandchildren have. Dad passed away long before the first one, never even saw his grandkids get married.

Carol is staying home another weekend, may be this way indefinitely. She doesn't like me taking care of the grandkids while their father still works. His business, no general public contact, just his work crews and business owners and managers; I told him the kids come first, do what you need to. One grandparent (my ex) already dropped out, but she has a heart condition, this virus would likely kill her, so I won't say bad about her doing that. Although her getting the virus could give me a big raise... no, don't think of that. Enough to buy a new pickup truck. No, stop that, bad thoughts, bad thoughts. And a toyhauler...

Went outside briefly, yeah, too cold for a ride. Hope they don't shut down unnecessary vehicle traffic this summer, this should've happened when the roads were slick and salty. Probably would have saved more lives than the virus will take, too. I'm feeling kind of alone here, think I'll get some comfort food, made up another big pot of pasta fafioli soup yesterday.
