Lou, I have this special sewing thing,round wooden **** that held a small spool of thread and run a thread thru the bottom. Had to pre punch all the holes but I was going through 3/8" of leather. Made a bunch of different holster for various guns, pancake, shoulder. It was fun at the time.
WELL....back to the drawing board. Pull start works great, centrifugal clutch not so much. Can't disengage from motor with clutch lever which means no foot pedaling and doesn't move the back wheel when engaged. Doesn't help that I don't know a damn thing about these things either..time ti rip it all apart again...

i can’t find the needle that goes with it. Probably haven’t used it in 20 years.
Fine example of centrifugal force. Wonder how far the bike went before something stopped it. I followed a riderless Panhead nearly a block once before it went into a ditch. Footpeg stuck on the ditch side and it just sat there spinning the back wheel, no damage except for the rider's sore *** from sliding off the seat when his hands slipped off the buckhorn bars.
That wheel must have hit with a combined speed of over 60, wonder if he survived that.
Mick, thanks but completely different set up.. Got lucky only had to take half of it apart. The center flywheel on the main clutch was rubbing the new replacement cover. You think they'd make it the same depth as the original...they supply 2 gaskets when you probably need 5. Got 5 on order. In the meantime, I'll use the two gaskets and some washers to space it for testing... as previously posted " "This no fit right ...put in box anyway"
