Wore the f**k out. Rained me and my guys out of work today, so spent all day in the rehab hospital with Dad. He's getting pretty hateful because he wants to go home, which they are supposed to let him tomorrow. I'm moving in with him. Home health care is set up, but he needs 24/7 care.

Came home and fixed a strong Crown Black. Because of the Grandson I had quit drinking till this. No matter, too pooped to party, fixing to hit the hay.

Rough road, Jack. Before my Mom finally went in a nursing home, flew to Atlanta for a week occasionally to give my brother a break, he'd moved in with her and it really wore him out. She'd had a stroke and right arm and leg didn't work anymore, and wouldn't even try to do anything for herself. When I'd spend a week there, often didn't get 4 hours a night sleep. But... they're parents, if they were even halfway decent just can't abandon them.

I took care of my Mom during the last year of her life as she was dying of cancer. She was relatively ambulatory, but still needed care. Had a nurse come by to help while I was at work. Hard duty, but waht are ya gonna do?

Morning Doc, Chuck and Tick, 3 inches of slushy crap here this morning with a hard freeze coming tonight, high of 18 tomorrow, low of 7 tomorrow night. Stay safe out there guys!
