I had an "oh, ****" moment while I was out and about.
At a stop light, 2nd in line behind a give or take 20 foot box truck.
Light turns green, he starts across and gets t-boned by a 90's model Buick Park Avenue.
Knocks the box truck across the right lane of traffic and into a light pole.
Buick is crushed and bounces left all the way across 2 lanes of east/west traffic. How it didn't kill the old guy driving I will never know.

They took her in at noon and had her out by 1:00, so pretty fast. She's alert and watching TV now. Apparently the plan is to have her up and walking very soon. It's crazy how fast this stuff goes.

It was one of those slo mo, did I really see that moments.
By the time we all cleared the intersection and stopped the old guy was out of his Buick. Dazed and confused. The box truck driver appeared shaken but unhurt. Habitat for Humanity truck.

Maybe the old guy will make a donation.
