TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
Evening Mick, Al, OG....
Correct, I am a movie guy. And I like Brad Pitt. He actually seems like a good dude, but who knows. I will say I like the roles he chooses.
You're going to trim his nails?

Name tag story:...Back in the 70's, I worked for a major Consumer Market division of a big drug company. At the time, there was one maybe two African Americans that worked for the company, one was in my region. His name was RAY,absolutely great guy. Would go to National meetings where Name badges were required. The higher ups would walk over to you and look at your badge and say " Hey,(look at badge) Al, how are you? Haven't seen you in a while".. Same phoney corporate BS. One night , I had this bright idea for Ray and I to swap name badges. Not a single person noticed, they called me Ray and him Al. You would think that having one or two people of a different color in your company, you'd know their name

Funny stuff, Al. You can call me Ray...or you can call me Jay...but ya doesn't have to call me Johnson.
Hey...what did I tell you about the "mobster" stuff? I am not a mobster. If you don't believe me, send me your address and I'll have someone stop by to verify it!....

Took the words right out of my mouth
Mick, this guy was a hoot. Often times we'd fly together. He'd get on the plane and ask the stewardess " Do you mind if we sit in the back row? I'm used to sitting in the back of the bus"
