Well, whomever is lucky enough to ****** him up will no doubt be overjoyed by his fluid scheduling. They need not worry about him being prompt and on time for pretty much anything. You see - he holds all the cards. Just ask him.

This was about 12 years ago.
The CEO of AT&T here in Colorado was retiring, my son David was kinda sorta casting about what he was gonna do after high school.
I threw out a few ideas about various odd jobs, trades, etc. just to get his mind working to do "something" to earn some bucks for himself.
I kept getting resistance, he didn't want to do that sort of work, of course, so I mentioned that this CEO was retiring and that David should apply for that job since he seemed to want to start at the top and not have to work for it.
I got the silent treatment for the rest of the weekend.
It was great.
