Man you ain't just a whistling Dixie there Dan. And the penalty could be harsh. He's due to travel to China and I said something about the Coronavirus. His response was it was no big deal and that it just is in one city. Cheryl tried to explain that it was far more widespread (8 cities in China under full quarantine and travel restrictions being imposed). To which he responded that it was just another form of Swine flu and he would be fine.

Mick, That's pretty neat. I can tell that you're enjoying woodworking, it shows in the results. You have a table saw to rip that stuff?

A friend of mine here at work is from China. She cancelled her trip back there this week cause of it. The family told her to stay home- too bad. The problem she was saying is, there is a 14 day incubation period that you do not have any symptoms. Then it hits you. This week is Chinese new year, and everybody over there travels to be with family. So far, there is no virus to stop it. Scientists have no clue. The government told the people too late about it. All the people think it's not that bad. 17 so far dead. Next week. Once all the people that are infected break out away from home, that will rise and all public transportation will be full of sick people trying to home.

All this week is parties. She showed me what her family is doing so far. Wow! Looks like fun.

If he does not think it's bad- more power to him. Have him watch the news here and see. She has been checking the news there, and it isn't really showing much about it. Keeping the people in the dark. They are good for that she says.

Mick, back in the 80's when I was doing my basement and making cabinets, I had a big cast iron Craftsman table saw with all the attachments . Also have a big Craftsmen Radial arm saw. Used it all when I built the vacation home for my parents. When I was done, I had no place to keep the tools (pre Garoffice days), and gave the table saw away. Still have the Radial Arm in my mother's garage. Have a small folding Ryobi table saw now. I always enjoyed wood working, very satisfying hobby

I've always wanted to learn dovetail joints. Someday when I have more time I guess. For now my wood working skills are confined to big things like stair cases etc. I will say, one of my best purchases for making a laser straight cut was this baby -
