TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
It's this time of year I get to Jones'n for a trip a trip south to ride. Late last winter was Arkansas. After buying the house last fall and making some (a bunch) of interior improvements, plus new shingles in the spring I may have to forego this winter's trip .......... OOofff

Thinking about heading to E. Oklahoma/Arkansas this week on the scoot, but all depends on my Pop. He's not doing too good.....

Mom went into the hospital with the last stages of Alzheimer's, went into Hospice a week later and died. Dad and I were with her when she passed. However, he's deathly afraid of hospitals now. He thinks if he goes to a hospital they're gonna put him in Hospice and he'll die. He's 83 in April.
He was the strongest, toughest man I've ever known. He weighed 240 lbs in his prime, and not fat.
He's 160 lbs now and frail. Breaks my f***ing heart....

Evening gents!
Jack - I'm sorry to hear this about your dad. Btdt. Same kinda deal for my old man. One big, tough SOB. To see him at a point where I outweighed him by 40 pounds was tough so believe me, I get it. Stay strong my friend.
