Lincoln, Miller and Hobart are excellent units ... infinite heat and wire speed settings are a definite plus ... Decide on whether a 110 or 220 unit is best suited for your needs

Lou uses welders as well as OG, Terry. Might ask them when they pop in. I think Al recently talked about small welders as well.

You might also ask Larry. In addition to Lincoln he thinks Hobart and Miller are good products.

Morning Larry, the Lincoln I have been looking at has high ratings and appears to be fairly versatile. I have 220 in the garage, guess i just need to figure out if I need it to be mobile, in which case the 110V would be handy.

Mick, look at the cordless Dremel. I broke down and bought one last year. Should have gotten one years ago....Think it was around $100. If you're going to do any fine or intricate work, get the kit with the flex attachment.
