Me? Nah same ole. Going back to Dolores on Friday night maybe. Check the place there, visit my parents, see if my truck tags are in the mailbox, etc.

 

Better than work lol. One week off?

 

No I have a three day weekend. MLK day on Monday the 20th.

 

Rear brakes on truck time....Auto Zone.

 

I almost always walk out of the parts store with some extras Mick. Not as bad as HF but close.

Well on call time doesn't mean always at work, it just means always available. So i put in my normal 40 hrs and then standby on weekends/holidays. It's a cheap way for the company to have 24/7/365.25 coverage. And all of us on the list are salary so no OT - and "comp time" is not a thing. The bosses are usually sympathetic with us making our own hours to a point so it kind of makes up for it.
