No, I'm going to run it out of the old chimney in the back. I'll take a pic.

 

No separate exhaust,I'm using the old chimney, It is a 12" fan so I have to reduce it down to this 8" outlet. This chimney ain't been used in 40 years or better. They'll be walnuts getting blown up out of the chimney like bingo *****. I'll video the first run.

 

Good thing you didn't use it for the fireplace!

I started out looking for 6" fans because I have 6" leftover pipe. I was going to just vent into the attic. Then my buddy Branden found this website for remaned grow fans. https://www.htgsupply.com/products/r...-velocity-fan/ This 12" was cheaper than most 6" and the CFM was triple. I paid $147 plus $20 in shipping.

 

You coulda convinced Al’s wife to buy that without a coupon.

 

I need to put in an attic fan. Might help with the summer heat

A vent at either end makes a big difference.
