My entitled nephew asked my sister and BIL to fund his honeymoon to Bora bora a few years ago. I would have loved to have seen the look on her face as she realized what a narcissist she had raised. He and his new bride did not get a trip.

I couldn’t agree more, Mick. We’ve been invited to a couple destination weddings. Never made one. It’s bad enough to spend money to be at your ridiculous wedding and also feel compelled to hang out 24/7 for the week. Not to mention, you’re going to get voluntold to help with the wedding.

I believe my sister and BIL declined to assist with the "dream honeymoon" opting instead to help them buy a house to which there seems to be no gratitude.

 

Let's not forget the self absorbed couple also expect a gift.
