I've crossed that one off my list. A little over 4 years ago we (FD Dive team) dove this lake for three days looking for a snowmobiler who tried to cross it. 35 degrees at depth (50-60 feet) and colder at the surface. Using navy tables we could stay down for 7 minutes. Altitude was about 11000'. That's a Blackhawk in the pic pointing out the end of the snowmobile track for the boat crew. We found the sled - eventually. The body had to be found by a team from somewhere in the PNW with a robot.

That's some serious **** Damon. I can't imagine doing that. I have number of friends in the FD and I consider them the true heroes. Some of the stuff they do on a daily basis......hell, I couldn't even do it once.

Good looking man cave Mark!

Cold water diving is serious stuff!

Our ocean is about 56*. Not too bad.

I've had to quit since I swapped sides of the state but have had some adventures. I think they will let me be retired as soon as I cross the magic age line. Anyway I have polar beared before just not nekkid. Lol.

Youngest son was out in NYC where his GF lives. They did the Polar Plunge today...he told my wife that it was cold!
