Hey all! Back from dinner with Lesley at the local winery. Louie aplenty but Lesley was by my side the entire time. Couple to cry over too.... front matched the back...

 

Was just contacted to know if I know anybody that wants to travel to upstate New York to help out on a problem upgrade project a sister company I deal with is doing. The day after Xmas and the next couple days.

Nobody in their right mind does a advanced upgrade to a running system this time frame so close to holidays! If all fsils, a pharmaceutical plant will have a bunch of problems. Might help the community with the flu of it goes up...? Lol

I was asked on Friday if we could have someone provide Go-Live support in the middle of nowhere Nebraska on Monday. Uh yeah.....no.

 

Hey Greg. Updating the computers in a running plant to the newest software rev. Typically will shot the place down and a bunch if configuration needs redone. If you also don't do the B&R you shut all down too. Not easy. Least they don't make anything that explodes like some of our customers... Lol

 

Loll... yea, we have lots of those types of customers. With the gas prices so low, the gas companies laid off a bunch of people. But still have big projects going on. We are getting calls from people asking if items have been bought for the projects. Have no clue...
