That’s an exchange engine minus accessories like the turbo plus labor to install

Any post maintenance engine runs should have revealed an oil leak. Sounds to me like they didn’t do them. This was an annual service so it was only an oil/filter change.

A week... I'd think a couple of good 'Merican mechanics should be able to do that in a day if they have all the parts. I've seen jet engines replaced in a couple hours, but all the quick change components were already on those.

These aren’t as easy as a QD setup. A week is good, rushing is how bad things happen, like oil leaks.
