Morning Greg.

This world is going down the toilet.
Been sitting at the gate for an hour now. Something wrong with the plane. Which they figured out after de- icing. Which happened after we had been of the friggen plane for half an hour.

I was on the fence between flying and driving. Door to door it would have been a wash. Unless I have to cross an ocean I’ll drive from now on.

Russ,

Been trying to get into cast iron cooking here recently although I'm still trying to hunt down a couple of dutch ovens, found a couple of frying pans but no lids.

When the kid was in scouts, his troop always did DO deserts for their competitions at camp outs, we always won. You need one with legs for the fire and one without for the stove. The vintage ones seem to be smoother than the newer ones, just need to make sure they aren't cracked or warped.

Peach cobbler, done right, in any oven is to die for.

My Mom made buttermilk pies that were world class. How that relates to cobbler I am unsure.

Re-morning, Woods..back from DR., actually PA because the DR wasn't in today. She pulls the plug out and 30 secs later the bleeding starts right back up! Cleans me up and packs some cotton in there. Little later cauterizes it , packs it up again. Little later does some serious cauterizing, I really could feel it this time and hopefully she got it. Whole list of DON"Ts for a week. Keeping my fingers crossed. Should pick up a couple humidifiers...any suggestions?
