Thanksgiving was fun, as usual I ate too much food. Very little drama, no police lights, no ambulances.
I did get to see my grandparents which is always nice. I don't make time to see them enough.
I had hoped to work on some yard tasks but the weather was not cooperative.

If any of you have never seen an Elk in the woods ( not these woods ) you would be impressed ... They are a huge animal ... Michigan has a large herd ( over a thousand ) in the northeast upper portion of the lower peninsula ... In the area along I-75 there are many caution signs regarding Elk and car encounters ... The car ALWAYS loses

Crazy Greg. Have the same group across the street. Known bottom feeders with a rap sheet to prove it. Have dogs n little kids. Police watch them. I've never had a problem but I lock my crap and have cameras.

This is my morning. You can't make this up!. Go to HomelyDepot at 7 am, nice, no traffic. Pull into parking lot, no cars. WTH. Then realize that it's Sunday and they don't open until 8. Ik...go home. Wait a while and head back. Stop for gas at local convenient store where they have attendants. Give the kid my card , tell him "fill it up" and go inside to get something. Come bacl out, CC and receipt is on the seat, pull out and head to Homely for two sets of lights to replace the ones on the window wreath. get a couple miles away, look at the gas gauge..less than 3/4 of a tank. Tempted to go back but realize the kid is out there before 8AM in 20* temps actually WORKING. He gets a pass.

Go to Homely, get a 5 plug adapter (which is pretty neat, made by Rigid ) a couple extra extension cords and they have NO warm white lights!!! Now, i have to go to Lowest which i absolutely hate going to. Get there, go to Christmas lights aisle. The have lights but they only say "CLEAR" . Are they warm white or cool white? Go over to the lighted Christmas tree display, kneel down and unplug it. I hear " Hey, you can't do that".. Look up and some kid is there. I said , nicely " Why?"..Apparently, he expected me to say "oh, Ok" and stop... I didn't. He was at a loss for words. Again, here it is early Sunday morning and this kid is WORKING...he gets a pass. I tell him " I want to see if these are warm white or cool white, do you know/"...He says "uh...No". Tell him "Well, let's find out" and I plug them in. 'See, they're warm white, you learned something. When someone asks you now, you'll know"..He say " Thanks".. Go to the checkout and there's only one open and 9 people in line. Self serve ones are not open..
Come home, my wife is now awake. She says " Did you go to HomelyDepot?" I said ' Yeah twice". She then says " I had an idea. Maybe we shouldn't replace the lights on the wreath, just leave it p[lain" AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH. All I said was "It's getting lights. It needs two sets I bought 4 "...Got my coffee and headed to the garage where i will stay all day....and then they wonder why I'm Grumpy!
