Homemade apple pie should NEVER be eaten ala mode. Eat your apple pie first to enjoy the homemade flavor..then eat the ice cream...

Evening Woodsnitzes, feasting festivities have concluded. Waiting for sammich time which I’m sure my wife will alert me by making me a turkey sammich.

 

First bite is pie only so I can enjoy the flavor unfettered. Then alternate. The crust is always eaten alone.

 

You probably drink good scotch with soda....
