Haha.....I was wondering if she would even allow it in the first place. It sounds like no dice which means the kid isn't as welcome anywhere he wants to go as he thought. He said something to me about his recent part time employment, working for the family - "I hold all the cards.".
He was referring to his unwillingness to work weekends and, I suspect, his failure to ever show up on time. Cheryl and I just looked at each other like Oh man....this kid has no idea what life is about. So tonight if he has any kind of criticism about how I run a household, my response will be - I hold all the cards.

Bob, not advice just a little story, use it as you wish. When my oldest son was 21 or 22 (we'll call him Good Time Charlie) out of college and had a nice job, I informed him of some new rules. He had to contribute to the household and pay rent. My wife thought that was terrible. $100 a month, crisp $100 bill only. He bitched about it for years. Basically, told him "tough ****" Several years later, when he bought his first house, he was handed an envelope stuffed with $100 bills.....

Getting ready for a few hours of work at the JAYOHBEE.
Wife is still battling her cold, mostly reduced to a annoying cough all night.

HAHA!...well done. Every time I buy a motorcycle, I thank my kids !!
It seems to me that OG has a little spare time on his hands and could restart the “Two Wheel Meltdown” program on Wednesday nights. He could feature a bat report as well as segments on stove top cooking and transmission repair. What say you OG?
