OG, looks decorative to me. About the only markings I ever saw said Property of the US Government.

Makes sense, came from my mother's last husband, who was a ranger. I didn't think Washington would pay for something like that but had to ask. I guess when you spend tax dollars on BS hearings you don't have much left for those that made it possible.
