Or the time I was in the stand ,distinctly hearing separate footsteps on the dried fall leaves......I stand, ever so quiet; manage the bow for a downward shot....waiting for the steps to come out from behind, directly underneath me.....bow stretched praying the arrow stays nocked....sweat beading on the forehead, waiting , more steps draw the bow , here it is , the sound is deafening! when do I release?!....FUGG! All that for a wandering painter turtle.....danabbit!!

Put a new carb on a snowblower that hadn't been used for over 25 years, and it runs fine. Audrey gets a snowblower this year.

Since Pierre Trudeau was PM, he implemented a equalization formula for provinces. That means the richer provinces send equalization payments from their GDP to Ottawa and Ottawa disperses as it sees fit. Alberta being a rich province has been sending billions of dollars to support provinces to the East (Ontario, Quebec, Maritimes). In the last 5 years, our dirty oil isn’t worth anything now, our provincial economy is in the toilet. Alberta would like to bring out oil to world market. Only way that can happen is by ship. BC is our closest port so that’s where the Trans Mountain pipeline comes in. That would bring oil to other countries, right? Well the BC people in Southern BC are opposed to it, saying it will contaminate their waters and land. Justin Trudeau has also blocked it, but under pressure, he decided to buy the pipeline when a Trans Mountain company were about to cancel the project. Fine, let’s head East...Ontario and especially Quebec totally refuses to have our oil sent through their province. (Wait a minute...aren’t you getting free money from our dirty oil?). BTW, did you know the East actually buys their oil from the Middle East and not from their own country? Welcome to behind closed door Canadian Politics, thanks to Pierre Trudeau, Jean Chrétien, Paul Martin, all oil tycoons before politics). Alberta also has not been given any money from equalization payments at all. Here’s another tid bit. Any Quebec government owned business that makes money does not go against Quebec GDP. They are making money hand over fist.
So I get why they want to separate. Will it happen...no. But maybe it will change how our provincial monies are handled federally.
Also, check out the SNC Lavlin scandal and hoe Justin Trudeau as PM interfered...
