Wasn't so bad today, other than he seems to know when my coffee is hot and screams, "me first!" from his crib. Slept most of the day today. Seemed like everything went a little smoother without Carol or his 3 year old sister here, too. When he's fed and nothing else pleases him, I found out he'll chill with some music. I saw this "Harleys In Hawaii", by some girl with nice female attributes on youtube and checked it out; he was quiet all the way through and watched it intently. On my save list now. He usually quiets down with a couple of Lana somebody's songs, but doesn't like Johnny Cash. Likes Hawaiian music, too. Well, the only one I've listened to anyway, I'm not much of a fan.

There's one more thing that always stops him crying - holding him up in front of the Harley parts hanging on my living room wall (I could never be married again). He seems fascinated by that wall, other walls don't work. After a while he gets heavy and I have to set him down to cry, so that's just a short temporary measure.

 

Lots of guys will volunteer to pinch hit for him as regards Kate.

G'Evenin', Woods. back from pumpkin carving with a 9 y/0 g'son and 5 y/o g'daughter who was cranky as hell. G'son did fine, I cut the top out and drew the pattern and he did the rest. G'daughter wanted to clean out the inside of hers, she was fine until she got some on her hands. She said it was gross. me doing this did not help...

 

 

Eavning all. Only cool here. Not ready to remove the swamp cooler from the window yet. Might heat up again. My night to cook dinner. Dry rubbed thick pork chops, sweet potatoes and quinoa.
