G'Evening, Woods

Russ, how did the painting go?

Lou, I tried the 50 ft extension. Seems like it helped . After welding and grinding on some spots the metal is really thin in places.

Kid my oldest grandaughter is dating is going to Triangle Tech for welding right now. He went to college for a year and a 1/2 and hated every minute of it....He's half way thru his welding course now and loves it.

Our community college has classes and does certifications. And excellent program. Look around your area. I find it enjoyable but I don't do it every day and I'm never in a hurry.

Hey, Doc.....

Lou, 15 yrs ago when I got the idea to build the RoadZter, I called the local vo-tech to check on adult night classes for welding. They wanted $500 and it was like a 6 month program and the woman said " But at the end, if you pass, you'll be Certified " I said " I don't want to be certified, I just want to learn to MIG weld. Can't I just come down for a week?" I got ticked off and bought a welder and taught myself. I had a really lousy teacher.

Lou, I got pretty good at grinding and filling holes and really good at body filler.
