Lou, i thought of that but was told it might overheat the transformer. Just about done,another grinding and touch up and I should be good to go. Maybe just buy a quart of JB Weld Steel Stik...

Damn, ya gotta love it when ya feel like someone is honest, does good work at a fair rate.

HVAC guy comes out today. Checks the a/c unit, checks the heater, makes sure the electronic thermostat is operating properly, checks and cleans the indoor filters. 85 bucks....

More than reasonable, some of these guys think they're neurosurgeons. Good trade for a kid who isn't Mensa material and has some ambition. .... or can go into politics.

Young guy about 30, says he took tech classes at Vo-Tech and worked 4 years for another firm then went out on his own 5 years ago. I would have no problem recommending him.

Should have just used an impact gun. At least then you know that the nuts are tight! Glad I dont work on cars. Heck I wouldnt be allowed to work on cars. I have no certifications other than an AC license.
