Last 60s day, planned on an afternoon ride, but got a wobbly tummy after painting with varnish, think the fumes got to me. Was outside, didn't think fumes would be a problem. At least that's done for the year.
I've resurrected 3 or 4 batteries I let sit too long that the chargers said was a goner. Hook up another battery in parallel and the charger will work, about 30 minutes and the battery will continue charging with the other one disconnected. I've had a couple drop down around 11V after sitting a day or two, and a second charge keeps them at 12+. As long as they're not shorted or sulfated too bad; then they sometimes charge up but lose it the instant you hit the starter. I just had to do this with my van last week, it seldom gets used in summer. Works on lithium batteries, too. A lot of those tool batteries that won't recharge have just dropped a little below the built in cut off voltage on the chargers, bring them up with a charged battery and they'll charge again. Till they're actually worn out, of course.

My dining room table had to make room for motorcycles a few years ago. Never missed it.
Making progress? Gas tank parts all cut, cap nuts welded to fender washers welded onto parts, petcock nut welded in, filler bung welded in....just might start welding tank together tomorrow.Notice the Springer front fork...
