TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
That's pretty awesome Russ. My acre is on a steep slope. I would have to get pretty creative to do a water feature. But I sure would like something like that. And the warm weather that comes with it. 45 degrees here.
Sorry about the trouble. I think it's our lot in life as men. Like you said - tomorrow is another day.

Last nite decided the old 55" projection tv is never gonna get used again, too heavy for me to think about any moving involving lifting, so the demolition began. Thought mebbe an hour or two. Hundred+ screws later and the screen, mirror, 3 crt projectors and many bits are out and there's still a bunch to disassemble, damn thing's built like a tank inside. Electronics will go to the recycle center, rest get reduced enough to feed into the garbage can, probably 4 or 5 times 'cause of the weight. Then some real exercise, moved the utility trailer to the front yard and started loading disassembled tree trunks. Somehow I still managed a ride, high 50's, too nice to waste.
After this weekend, the warm days forecast will be low to mid 40s, might just drop all the bike insurance except the comprehensive on the Harley sidecar rig, that ain't much. Unless it doubles when I lose the multi vehicle discount. Ural too, way they're salting the roads now, won't be any more snow riding. I'd be surprised if we don't get salt in the next couple weeks.

When I got it, the1080 Pioneer projection did seem awesome, and the first 5 years I had it, nothing else looked better, though of course bigger ones came along. But eventually Samsung and Sony made better and I got a Samsung 65" 5 years ago. I'm hoping for an 80" in a year or two, if the prices keep coming down. Give the 65" to Carol if she wants it, she's still using a 32". Tiny little thing, need binoculars to see who the actors are. Sit 3 feet away. Use reading glasses. Well, maybe not quite that bad. Punisher was awesome on the 65". 5 years and it still seems special to watch a movie at home on something that big that looks that good.

Brutal as in gratuitous violence. Carol was horrified.

L.A. and Chicago need a couple of him. Few other cities, too. Couple hundred of him in Mexico. The evening news would be more entertaining than prime time.
