Afternoon Woods.....
Time for a teachable moment in the TOAK......at least it interests me.....
Who are the best Cattlemen in the world? I've raised my own feeder beef, and living on the Chisholm Trail, and having visited Adobe Walls, where probably over a million head of cattle went thru, and the path is still visible today in places, I'm interested in the subject. I'm sure Lou is too. My personal opinion is it's the Masai Tribe of Africa. They have raised cattle ever seen the stock was introduced. When a lion killed a cow that belonged to the tribe, they tracked it down and exterminated the lion with their famous spears. It's been proven that lions are learned predators, and they will widely avoid Masai cattle, once a few of the pride have been killed.
I admire a brave man. Especially a man who goes into a situation knowing full well he could be killed or badly hurt, and not giving a ****....
That's your lesson for today....

Masai warriors still kill lions today with their spears. They follow their cattle on foot, moving them to fresh grazing, and if a lion bothers them or their cows, they give no ***** Lou, they kill it!
