Similar situation here Bob ... Your head needs to be on a swivel for the expected encounters with others traveling and uber aware of the road conditions ... There are commercial vehicles that operate in Michigan that exceed load limits in almost every other state :<(

Mostly flat prairie. Right now I think my biggest obstacle is being able to stop or steer quick enough with 1 werkin hand and leg

Those Tesla are nice. A lack of charging stations is limiting.

You really trying to get quarterlies, hah?

The Tesla drives nice but it takes a bit of getting used to. When you let off the gas and start slowing on its own without applying the brakes. There is a fancy word for it but I can't remember what it's called.

Regenerative braking. After getting used to American coasting transmissions (although I guess all makes have that now), I hate the always in gear slow down effect. Carol's Accord feels like putting on the brakes when you let off the gas, have to work at it to hold speed downhill and when driving behind one, seems like they don't have brake lights, slow down a lot quicker than my cars/truck when they don't use the brakes.

One of the reasons my favorite direction from home is Wisconsin, the roads are so much better. Some of the local roads were painful on the sportster before I put air shocks on it. Carol's Accord feels like a paint mixer on them. But to be truthful, the one time I drove it in Wisconsin, it felt like a paint mixer there, too. Late 60s, early 70s Datsun 510s were much smooth riding. Progress...
