I don't like the biscuits. I might be moving up to the Ham,egg, and cheese on a toasted everything bagel at Dunkin' Donuts!....

1.6%... I might finally have enough money to build some 3' raised beds in the garden, that getting down on the ground is killing my lower back. Won't buy the couple grand in parts I need for the Tour Glide, though. Truth be told, I don't worry much about money anymore, spent 20K+ on vehicles in the last two years. What did Chuck just say, that wasn't even a good down payment?

Good to hear. I could never understand how some people manage to stay in business despite themselves... (segue for what follows)

Been dealing with an older guy about 6 miles away for the past several weeks on buying the motor and stuff I need for this bike. He works out of his garage at his house, don't know if he has another job. Had a little trouble reaching him last week, he doesn't return phone calls. I take my bike down so we can figure out what's needed. I was upfront with the guy that I like dealing locally , pay CASH and would like to get everything I need from him. I figured that Id pay a little more but that was OK with me. He ports and polishes the head, checks everything blah blah blah. We make a list of what we need and I ask for a price. i had to get him the hub size of new wheels I'm getting. I email him the info the same day and I never hear back from him. I call him and leave a message about the price..no return call. I email him , no response, call again, no response.

Contact a real bike place with a great reputation about 60 miles away. Email a couple questions about a $340 engine kit he has on sale for $260. Great price ,top name brand engine, ported and polished, balanced crank, performance head . The engine deal comes in black with 8mm mounting studs. I tell him I would prefer silver engine so I don't have to strip it. He immediately replies that the silver has 6mm studs. Answer him back and say that I'll order the black one and strip it. Get another immediate response that he'll send me a bare block and covers i with the 8mm studs....Guess where I just ordered an engine from....

Moldy, don’t spend any money on 3” raised beds. Just dig a 4’ deep trench around the garden, then you won’t have to bend over at all and think of all the dirt you’ll have to plant in
