You might not believe this, but I'm in less than $1k total right now. But thousands in tools. Haven't started the engine but I'm gonna run it till it won't run then fix or replace it. I rebuilt the rear axle after paying $200 in the junk yard for it. Don't want or need a show truck, just a fun weekend rider.

 

I'm in the middle of looking for a rear axle for my Ranger. Everyone I find with the right gears sells before I can get there. I have an 8.8 sitting under my explorer, but it's 4.56. I can get the D35 with 4.56 free at a friends house, but those are steep gears for the street. The Impala isn't going to be a showpiece, but it's going to be a pretty damn serious street machine. Definently the last one I build to this level

 

Now extended to two days. I spoke with him today and told him if he doesn't get here tomorrow morning to not come back at all. Meanwhile, after two and a half cases of caulk (15 tubes) and the outside is ready for paint if I'm ever told what color that will be.

 

Which one of you guys made it necessary to put this sticker on the hand dryer?

Work gives you meal tickets when you come in for overtime. I always get just as many cheeseburgers as it will buy from a local BBQ joint. Hard to argue with a cheeseburger
