About a 60 mile ride today, as rides go, it sucked. About 5 miles in, gave up the intention of lunch in Wisconsin, though I'd just do a small loop south and home, was getting too cold and the wind was rocking me. I think I followed detours as often as not, road work all over, and they just close the roads to work on them. Gave up at one point and took a dirt road so I could at least head in the right direction, detours here sure add unnecessary miles.

Thinking of dropping the 1200's insurance and parking it for the winter, get some wrenching done before it gets too cold. Not like I'd be giving up much riding.
