Sometimes what should be a simple job causes me the worst time. I’m wanting to mount some LED taillights on the RV. Because it’s a toy hauler the only brake lights are in the bumper (down low) , as most of the rear is the ramp door. To either side of the ramp is a square tube steel frame. I figured I could drill a hole from underneath and fish the wires through this frame. I have very limited access to where I have to drill and the steel is about 3/16” thick. I tried using a 1/2” hole saw bit (the kind used for making holes in sheet metal) for rust proofing. Well , it was like cutting down a tree with a nail file. I’m going to have to devise a plan B.
