Well...being the capitalistic pig that I am, I'm off to the self storage facility to auction off the contents of a couple units. People think that they can store their stuff for months for free.
We created a Special Assessment District to repave the roads here ... The Township Supervisor handled the specifics and along with the county came up with a plan that was ultimately approved by the people ( approximately 80 ) who were property owners along the roads ... It was supposed to start on the week after the 4th of July but the company chosen to do the job has been chosen as the target for a strike by the asphalt powers that be ... I've already paid my $5600.00 for my portion ( paid up front to avoid interest charges ) and yesterday I got a letter from the township that it's too late in the year to start and they will not begin work until after the spring rains ... Should I ask for my money back or have them pay interest to me while they're sitting on it ??
Morning fellers, had a 1/2 nipple rot away and blew off the shut off valve to a drinking fountain and flood 2 partial floors with a side order of wet smoke detector which evacuated the building this morning.
Never a dull moment here............................
