That's cheap. I've noticed that there's some great buys at Mecum auctions where there at smaller venues like Harrisburg. Cars that guys have $80K + into going for half that. Barrett usually brings higher dollars. I know , roughly, what I've put into cars where I did every single bit of work on. I can't imagine what it would cost to pay someone to do it.

Still a lot of money for an old car, but about 100 grand shy of what it would have fetched a decade ago.
I wouldn't mind getting a late 60s Mustang fastback. Still kind of pricey, but not out of range.
