TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
Morning Greg!
Thanks Jack!
Russ - correct. The driveway is stable and I'm just not getting a good feeling from anyone that has quoted it, which was only two companies. I think I'll hire an excavator to do what I need done, and deal with the landscaping and driveway separately. It's a sure fire plan that will probably only cost 20% more than I had I just gave it to the highest bidder.
We're up to our necks in the lower level remodel - Basically gutted. Enough drywall and misc to fill a 15 yard dumpster. My neighbors have been kind enough to toss some of their crap in there which must mean I have less to get rid of.
Thanks Jack!

Actually it's a pool liner. Cheryl gave them permission to toss that in there. But I see that they wrapped "something" in the pool liner, as well as tossed a bunch of old railroad ties, which was not on the approved list. I found it especially galling because I've been tossing all the wood I've demo'd onto a pile out back to burn rather than take up dumpster space. I have since covered it with a tarp, which seems to have worked. I'm sure I'm the ******* neighbor now.
You, should. I meant it that way.

Apparently. And always when we are gone.
