Wow Al, that's incredible work, looks great. I love keeping things alive like that. I don't do a lot of wood working though, mostly metal fabrication.

Thanks, Tim. You want a test of patience and stress, try hand caning something.
They make sheets of caning , just router a groove on the perimeter ,place sheet over it and hold in place with a thick piece of cane. This one had all individual holes for individual pieces of cane, so I wanted to keep it original. I remember getting a price, 10 yrs ago,of around $200 to hand cane it. Wouldn't have been the same, though.
