Well, if it isn't fixed, ride until winter and tear into the engine and bullet proof it. That's what I personally would do. I love my bike and have already replaced the frame to keep it.
I'm a huge Star Trek fan! All the shows, doesn't matter. I love them all!
Good morning woods! I don't feel welcome in Posers anymore, but here you guys love me. I love you guys too!

I like the bike. It does it's job very well. I do wonder if long term it's a good bike to have though. Lot of expensive technology to go wrong. ABS, Infotainment....just not sure. I'm also toying with the idea of building a 2002 Road King. I have to ask those in the know, but I believe that year had a stronger bottom end and cruise (which I need for travelling) is an option. I wouldn't mind shedding 100 lbs of weight and getting rid of that fat rear tire too. If I sold mine and bought even the Screaming Eagle version I would have money left over for improvements. If I did that, it would be my last Harley. The new ones are just too expensive and unreliable for the miles I put on them.

So what did you do to **** off the Posers?

Getting an older Harley is a great option I think. I don't have ABS and I upgraded my brakes so they work well. When I encounter a huge issue with the ECM I can convert to a carb if I really want. That would make my bike completely mechanical. Even if I get other bikes I'll hang on to this one for the same reason you say, there's too much in the new ones to keep them reliable.
And I walked on the *#%@$ grass.
