So I'm home, had a "great" day. A 35 yo man was working on a ranch developing the land. I had to go talk to his wife and three children and tell them he wasn't coming home. Hit hard...

Anyway, I'm home. Hugged my kids and wife, thought of you guys. Got mad at John again for getting too hot the other day. Take care of yourselves! This heat will literally kill you.

 

Man that's the **** that I couldn't do. Have quite a few friends in law enforcement. How they do it I don't know. Same with friends in corrections. Probably old hat for you. Stay strong!

 

It's not old hat for me, I hate it. It affects me even though I'm told it shouldn't. Today sucked. Thanks though brother.

 

That sucks Chris. First responder jobs are not what it’s cracked up to be all the time. Hope you’re able to get through this. Remember that people are there if needed.

Anyways, we're in for another hot spell with humidity........Our new driveway needs the cool weather more than me.....makes it pretty much useless til then.Lookin' like 2 weeks minimum for we can put the cars on it......bike was always on the lawn.
