Dog gonnit, I forgot to say, John you're making quick work of it. It's going back together that takes forever!

So, I don't eat fast food often. In fact, hardly ever. Today I was at the courthouse getting documents signed, talking to judges, etc. I ran into my lunch break and was still on the opposite side of town so I figured I'd grab Whataburger. I figured when in Rome, so I asked for a chocolate malt. MALT not SHAKE! THERE'S A DIFFERENCE PEOPLE! I got a shake, not what I asked for. This day is in ruins now!

When I got the grandkids last Monday, oldest was getting over a cold. Yep, I got it last night. Nyquil, Dayquil and a box of kleenex. Gonna be a liquids and Netflix day.

When I'd fly to California in the early/mid 70s I'd always go to the John Wayne airport in Santa Anna, not only less congested and much easier to get in and out of than LA, but the restaurant upstairs had the best chowder I've ever had, both red & white, served in big ceramic tureens (easily a full quart). Ex and I would order one of each and split them. Also had some rather unusual foods for a plain, cheap looking restaurant in an airport, like spinach souffle. Everything I tried there was delicious, and incredibly cheap. "What should we do this weekend?" "Let's eat at the airport, rent a car and just wander for a couple days before we go back to the airport for chowder."

Now it's just another expensive airport, the era of flying around and seeing different airports for fun is long over. Last time I flew for fun was taking Audrey to New York City in 2003, and the least enjoyable part of that was the airports. And trying to find a toilet in NYC...

Fast food is for trips when I eat while driving. I rarely eat out by myself, and only slightly more often with other people. Know what you mean about malts, like whole milk compared to skim. Well, maybe not that bad.

Now comes the hard part... doing OT for pay for parts. Need and intake and carb(obviously) I'm putting a 200r4 behind it and trying to decide between a 9in or a 12bolt. Oh, and redoing the interior and having it murdered out. I'm hoping to have it on the road by spring

Sounds like a major undertaking john. Keep us posted!

Chris, either sound good to me about now. Haven't had either in years. Plus with booze in it!

Just for fun I'm experimenting with a some artistic shots. This is still somewhat crude I think, and the music will get better. I will rerecord the music I'm playing. This video is not public but I can share it here. It's short, let me know what you guys think.
