Tracy - Going back to stock for paint on the Bad Boy?

 

Gotta a damn water leak after replacing an outside faucet.

Teflon tape isn't sealing it so I am thinking pipe dope is in order.

Frostless spigot make into a copper female.

Any other suggestions from the TOAK?

I actually like the paint scheme it has right now but it's starting to show some issues and was not super well done anyway. I will probably go back with something very similar but am entertaining the idea of putting together another set of tins that can be done in the original black and red. Not really hard to find them, The tank that's on it now is a 5 gallon fat bob but I know where I can get a 4.2 just like the original

I second Tracy's advice but with a pesky leak I add tape after the dope. I use the same stuff.
