Anyone know if the Surface Pro i5 or i7 can do video editing? They're expensive though...

I have a i5 Surface book and it does video editing just fine. But, it's 4 years old and on it's way out. I will probably replace it with a Mac. However, you can get the non-detachable Surface for a lot less money than the one like I have. I saw it for $800 with similar specs. That's less than half of what I paid for mine.
