It was seriously weird and I'm German. The video doesn't capture the subtlety at all. There was a lot going on. That deer head at the peak of the roof would start moving in rhythm to the music. Seriously, after 2 - 1 liter steins of Octoberfest, that **** was surreal.

On the plus side, everyone got along great and it was one helluva good time. Sorry to be exclusionary, but sometimes it's pretty fun just to get **** faced with 1000 other people just like you. And then there's the whole busty beer Freulein thing......sorry.....no pics.

 

Gloria will put frozen white grapes in white wine sometimes.

 

Like putting coffee ice cubes in iced coffee. Or cooling coffee faster without diluting it. Good idea.

Great video Bob. Kristi and I were fortunate enough to have lived in GDR prior to the end of the Cold War. Those folks celebrated their history and we did our best as youngsters to keep up! Good times.
