Yeah, it's not my favorite thing to do. But if I can even get a contractor here they charge a fortune for **** quality. I've pretty much given up on hiring people to do my stuff. Except the driveway. I'm not paving my driveway. And yeah, Cheryl is a keeper.

I had my driveway done last year ... Keep an eye on them Bob ... Not all but many paving companies are less than honest and once the job is done, it's yours :<(

 

They are doing it at the rehab joint. Whether he continues t home is another story

Thanks Larry. I'm kinda getting that impression. I'm getting the hard sell - "if you sign today I'll give you 25 percent off. But that's only good if you sign now."

I don't blame you. If you want something done right, do it yourself. I am learning all about home repairs by building my shop. I figure I practice on that, and do it the right way on our home. You're doing it the right way, but it still sucks.
I'm sick of these FKING dirtbags that come out here and rip off the elderly with their BS seal coat or chip seal driveways that they charge 10k for. These people are gullible and are extorted into giving them the money. The worst part is, there's little recourse. These people get no information we can use to track them down. We have caught a few, but most get away and get caught elsewhere.
