The earlier "storm" just made noise and went on by without a drop, but there was another behind it, that's hitting now. What I'd call a mild wind, but Carol called and said turn on the tv, they're warning of severe winds. Hell, they always do. I don't get excited unless it sounds like a freight train is coming towards the house (that's happened 3 or 4 times in the last 30 years). And never turn on the news or weather, if I'm interested I can get more off the internet in 2 minutes than a half hour of useless chatter on tv.
