TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
How long was the fuel pump setting dry?
Are the fuel lines the original corrugated plastic, or did you do the upgrade to NAPA fuel hose?
About a week on the bench, covered to protect from dust. New strainer.
The original plastic lines. I pulled them to inspect them. The fuel crossover is new. All part cleaned prior to reassembly.
Thought I'd add, went for a ride last night and it was fine.. about 6 miles, so not far. The trouble started today with nothing else changing.

If it will start and idle, start it and take off the gas cap. If you hear a hissing sound and/or see fuel splashing around in there, one of those lines has broken or has a pinhole in it.

I'll try that and get back to you. Right now I cant get it to even idle anymore so maybe when it cools? I thought if I topped off the tank and there was a cracked line it would solve the problem for a little bit.
I dont sit still well. I opened the cap (held it in my hand) and saw a spray, or stream, squirting in the tank. So...
Gotta be it. Ugh. So, even with the tank full, the lines don’t get enough pressure to feed the engine.
