18 pallets of grass laid at the neighbor’s house. Stay in school kids, you don’t want to do this for a living. Yesterday was the hot one, 104° by noon when we quit. It was raining this morning which kept it cool, thank goodness for small favors. Drawback to the rain was that it made the rolls of grass even heavier.

 

I love the irony of that...guy busts his *** to put it in (with your help) and then has to take care of it for the rest of his life... Kinda like getting married i guess...

 

Very much like it Al, grass drinks too.

I've laid sod in my time & its a bitch. You're right, Russ!

 

About 10 yrs ago, my next door neighbor was having sod put it. My wife's cousin's husband who is not the brightest knife in the drawer was doing it. They take the sod out of the truck and leave for lunch. I put a sign on the pile...GREEN SIDE UP!.He didn't think that was funny.
