Morning Terry....Stan!
Nothing new on the retaining wall. I can't even get a contractor to show up. I spoke with 4 of them and they said they would call me....but nothing. Apparently everyone is too busy. I'll try a few others today and hope for better luck.
I'm also thinking I can shift and narrow the driveway and get rid of the retaining wall and just make it a hill. Much less money and headache.

Or buy one of these and hire some kids
I don't think I slept a wink till around 2am, then got outta bed, made a coffee, watched a bit of how-to and travel on youtube (tour of a bootiful island and a few seconds of a bootiful buxom blonde with no cloth or hair below her head stepping out of a pool, smiling, and then walking away, haven't seen that on youtube before) and then finally to sleep. Woke up 3 hours later, back to sleep, up and stayed up a couple hours later. Kinda wiped out yesturday's almost 9 hours sleep. I don't think I had 8 hours in a night since before Arkansas till yesterday. Been a few 4s & 5s. Phone doesn't help, occasionally get calls from 6am to near midnite.
Know how to operate a Bobcat skid loader? Could probably reshape that drive and pile the old asphalt out of the way in a day. Day or two rent would be dirt cheap compared to hiring a contractor. Then it's just getting new pavement laid. That won't be cheap...
