TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
I know you'd all enjoy that weather report... but you always have to be factual when telling stories in the toak
Ha...whaddya think...I'm made of pavers?....The people who are loaded are the ones who won't spend it.
I've never bought a non-American car, but I've been looking at the BMW Z3s for a minute now. Anyone here familiar with em, and would a traditional hot rod lover be happy with one?

Im not too impressed by the specs. I wood ask Harley Charlie as he was a BMW tech for like 30 years. Recently retired.

Morning Lou. Not sure where to even start in on here but you told me to visit. This thread moves faster then I can keep up lol.
BMW Z3? Cool looking cars, expensive to work on. I tend to gravitate to trucks, so I know more about those. I'm a hotrod guy and I can't picture wanting to drive one.

Yeah, I know it's not going to be a tire shredding V8 torque machine. Looks like it could be a fun/spirited canyon carver though

I currently have a 93 Ranger, 07 Ram, 85 F150 and 94 Explorer. I've had enough of trucks for a minute
I drive American because I like the torque and the sound. Mazda Miata looks like it would be a fun canyon carver too. I almost bought a BMW years back, but decided against it for the simple fact of cost of repair and special tools being needed to do something as simple as a brake change and oil life in the computer.
I drive an 2017 F250 diesel and I'm restoring a 69 F250 SB with a 351 Cleveland in it. After that is a 78 CJ7. Wife has an Explorer and wants a Bronco, new or old, she doesn't care. Still can't get enough trucks. Love 'em!
I love my trucks... but I grew up on Camaros/Novas/Chevelles/Mustangs/etc. I'm wanting to get back into something that's fun to drive and push the legalities of those speed limit signs
