Haven't spoken to Russ this week, saw the pictures tonight, catching up on the TOAK...looks like a good time was had. Hard not to have a good time in that part of the country. Been riding those roads for years. Been a rough week. Dad ended up in the hospital with an infection in his knee. Being 82 yrs old I was afraid the infection might spread. They kept him and dosed him up on antibiotics....Got him back home. I've been doctoring his bandages this week, doing his yard work. His yard is 2 acres, so it's a job. Plus he's not been weed eating like he should, or he isn't able I guess, so took care of that this week too, all while working and pouring a slab today...fun fun fun....

How in the hell are ya Dave....I was going thru some old pics and I found one with half the bar beers raised tipped in your direction. LOL...few years ago. When you went thru everything with your Dad and all....

Holed up in Effingham Illinois for the night. Long miserable hot day in the saddle. St Louis traffic and it touched 100 a time or two.
Cooling off in the motel with a cold beer and AC running wide open.
This state must be Cali#2 as gas jumped 0.70/gal
Couldn't buy beer at a gas station Had to ask wtf to buy a beer around these parts

I hear you Jack. I just spent two-and-a-half days here at the RV with my 86 yr old dad and he went home this afternoon. I got little free space to breathe right now.....
