TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
I lucked out this year, only 295 miles for me. Looking forward to the great food but I thought YOU were her Italian beef.
No......that's the guy that shows up when I leave. I'm her Wienerschnitzel with a side of Spotted Dick.
We ended up near Joplin MO last night and will be heading down today. Watching the weather.

Mornin, Rick. My concern at the moment is whether or not we can buy beer on Sunday anywhere near Jasper. Jasper, as you know, is dry and that little factoid remained unknown until after committing to the area. We are gonna have to get those with trucks and trailers to stop and buy enough beer for Sunday.

No problem, I am going to harangue Russ and guilt him into bringing a load. Chuck needs no such encouragement.
If you haven't chosen a route, take a look at Hwy 90 Which you would pick up south of Joplin. Run that to Hwy 62 and on to Harrison. It's a very nice ride that takes you through Eureka Springs. Good place to grab lunch.
